Jimmy & Tyler’s Intimate Fox Run Park Wedding

LGBTQ Wedding, Fox Run Regional Park, Colorado Springs

Jimmy and Tyler wanted a small, intimate wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. Just after their Air Force graduation and ahead of a big move to New Jersey, they planned a celebration that reflected what truly mattered to them — love, connection, and togetherness.

We started the day with a couple’s session at Fox Run Park, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. This is what I love so much about elopements — there are no rules! You get to design a day that feels exactly right for you, on your own terms, and that’s exactly what Jimmy and Tyler did.

From the moment I met them, their love for each other radiated in the most genuine way. Every glance, every touch — it was all so natural and full of meaning.

Their ceremony took place beneath a peaceful gazebo, and Jimmy’s father had the honor of officiating. His words were incredibly moving — there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. One of the most touching parts of the ceremony was the inclusion of the ancient Celtic handfasting ritual, where cloth is tied around the couple’s hands to symbolize their bond. The tradition dates back to medieval times and added such a powerful, intentional moment to the ceremony.

This day was a perfect example of what weddings are truly about — love, family, and making memories in a way that feels personal and true. Jimmy and Tyler, it was an honor to be there and document such a meaningful beginning to your next chapter together.
