Emma & Erik’s Fall Mountain Engagement Session | Boulder, Colorado

Emma and Erik’s engagement session was full of laughter, love, and those perfect fall vibes. We met in the mountains just outside of Boulder, Colorado, where the golden grasses were tall and the dark evergreens stretched toward the sky. The contrast between the landscape and their autumn-toned outfits was simply stunning.

They brought along their Alaskan Malamute — their fur child and best adventure buddy — and he was clearly thrilled to be part of the fun. He ran circles around his people, played tag, and soaked up all the attention. Watching them together, you could feel how much love and joy exists in this little family.

We spent the afternoon chasing light through the trees, playing in the rocks, and dancing through the tall grass. Emma and Erik were playful and carefree, exactly the energy I love capturing in engagement sessions. They shared quiet moments, belly laughs, and lots of kisses — all with the mountains as their backdrop.
