Samantha & Adam’s Engagement Session | Alexander, NY

Some couples truly leave a lasting impression — and Samantha and Adam are absolutely one of them. I had the chance to photograph them during a beach session while living in Colorado, and from the moment we wrapped that shoot, I hoped I’d get to capture more of their story.

Fast forward a year later: they’re engaged! And Adam made it clear that I was the only photographer he trusted to document this next chapter — something that still means the world to me.

During a visit back to New York, I met up with them in Alexander for their engagement session. The love between these two was so evident in every look, every laugh, every gentle touch. Despite Samantha having injured her ankle, she powered through the session with such grace — even slipping into a pair of leopard heels for a few photos. Talk about dedication!

While we were limited in movement, it didn’t take much to bring their story to life. The way they adore each other is unmistakable. It was all about those quiet, romantic moments and capturing the emotion between them.
