Community, Confidence, and Creative Collabs | Boudoir at The Headquarters Studio
In this industry, one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that community always wins over competition. I wish I had embraced that mindset sooner, and it’s now the first thing I share when chatting with new photographers. There is more than enough work to go around — and so much beauty in lifting each other up.
Earlier this year, two fellow photographers, Carly and Charley, organized a fun, content-building day at The Headquarters studio in Denver. It was the perfect opportunity to connect, collaborate, and create with a group of amazing women.
The Headquarters is a full house studio setup with multiple styled spaces — and they regularly change the decor, which keeps things fresh and inspiring. During our session, we had access to a modern kitchen, a luxe clawfoot tub, a dreamy cloud room, a dark and moody living room, and a soft, airy bedroom. So many options, all in one space!
If you’ve been on the fence about booking a boudoir session, let this be your sign: do it for yourself. So many women say they want to wait until they lose a few pounds or feel a certain way — but none of that is necessary. You are already enough. Let me show you.
I’ll guide you every step of the way — from choosing outfits and locations that reflect your vibe, to posing you in the most flattering ways for your body. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all session. Whether it’s a steamy in-studio shoot, a flower-covered mountainside, or wearing your partner’s favorite shirt in your own home, this session will be uniquely you. And yes — your hair and makeup will be done by a pro, so you can show up feeling pampered and confident.
Boudoir is about celebrating who you are right now. I’ll be your biggest hype girl — promise.
“I did a boudoir shoot and absolutely LOVED how the photos turned out. I highly recommend going with Vintage Violets- they made me feel extremely comfortable and the photos turned out fantastic. Thanks again!”
