A Second Chance at Love | Sandra & Mitch’s Intimate Colorado Springs Wedding
Sandra and Mitch’s wedding was more than just a celebration — it was a beautiful reminder that love can find us again, even after deep loss. Both having lost their first spouses, Sandra and Mitch found healing and joy in one another, and their wedding was a true testament to resilience, love, and family.
They chose to keep their day intimate and meaningful by renting a gorgeous Airbnb tucked away in the mountains of Colorado Springs. Surrounded by their children and grandchild, the home buzzed with warmth, laughter, and shared stories.
Before the ceremony, I captured sweet family portraits — little moments that showed just how loved and supported Sandra and Mitch are. During the ceremony, one of their granddaughters sang a heartfelt song, and there truly wasn’t a dry eye in the room. It was one of those rare moments that stops time.
Dinner was prepared by a private chef, and it felt more like a family gathering than a formal reception — just the way they wanted it. After the meal, Sandra and Mitch shared their first dance as husband and wife, and then, in one of my favorite moments of the night, their children and their spouses joined in. It was such a moving way to blend the families and celebrate this next chapter together.
This day was special in so many ways. It was intimate, emotional, and deeply meaningful — a true honor to capture.
