Arcade Games & Red Rocks Love: Conner & Megan’s Playful Family Engagement Session

Conner and Megan’s engagement session was a heartwarming blend of fun, love, and family. We kicked things off at the iconic Manitou Penny Arcade — a place that perfectly matched their joyful energy. With their young son tagging along, this wasn’t just an engagement session — it was a celebration of their family and the adventure they’ve built together.

The three of them laughed and played their way through the arcade. From skee-ball to vintage racing games, every moment was filled with giggles and connection. We even snapped a few silly photos by the sign outside — a perfect little memory from the day.

Afterwards, we headed over to Red Rocks Open Space, one of their favorite places to bike and spend time together. Their little guy was all smiles as they pushed him along the trails with his bike, surrounded by the towering red rock formations and warm evening light. It was such a joy to capture their bond — not only as a couple, but as a loving family unit.

These are the sessions that stay with me — real, genuine, and full of connection. I love when clients bring their whole selves to a shoot — including the kids, the laughter, the quirks, and the chaos. This session was a reminder that love isn’t just about the couple — it’s about the life you’re building together.

Sarah photographed both our engagement/family photos and wedding and she knocked it out of the park for both. She made everything super easy and clear through the whole process. I never had any worries about her showing up or the photos she produced. She was accommodating to our budget and it was easy to understand what were paying, when and how long she would be there. She was also like a mini coordinator the day of my wedding by giving us directions of how to do certain things, helping with my dress, and directing our guests when to stand during the ceremony. I am beyond impressed and appreciative of what she did for us.

On top of all of that, Sarah was extremely approachable and kind. She was easy to talk to and felt like a friend on the day of my wedding. I got a TON of compliments about Sarah on how great she did her job and what a cool/kind person she was from my guests.

I highly recommend Sarah!
