Kelsey’s Bridal Boudoir Session, at Cultivate Studios, in Colorado Springs, Colorado

I first met Kelsey when she inquired with me about photographing her wedding. Unfortunately, I was unavailable for her date because I was going to be out of town, but I referred her to an amazing friend of mine! A few months later, I posted a Valentine’s Day discount for a boudoir session and Kelsey booked right away. I was over the moon to be able to work with her on a different occasion!

We picked the perfect location and arranged for her hair and makeup done before her session at the studio. She went simple with some curls, natural-looking makeup, and stunning red lipstick! This mini glow-up was exactly what Kelsey needed for her session. Kelsey was confident right out of the gate and listened to everything I told her. Throughout the session, I would show her the back of my camera, and it was so special to watch her light up seeing how beautiful she was.

Sometimes we need to see ourselves in a new light! During your session, I will capture your beauty and showcase your body in a way that will make you feel confident. And we will have already had a Zoom and/or in-person meeting to get to know one another and figure out exactly your vision for the session. You have nothing to worry about - you will never feel judged, uncomfortable, or pressured to do something that is not you. This kind of session is not about forcing things or creating a ridiculous facade; it’s about letting go of the hang-ups and feelings that don’t serve us and finding the beauty that’s there all the time!
