Megan and Connor’s intimate mountain wedding in Fairplay, Colorado, was the perfect blend of breathtaking scenery and heartfelt moments. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple rented a charming Airbnb tucked away in the mountains and said their vows right in the front yard — with the wide-open Colorado sky above and the golden aspens swaying gently around them.
Just across the road was a wide, open field that gave us the most stunning backdrop for portraits. The mountains stretched behind them, the aspens glowed in their full autumn color, and a soft breeze danced through the air — it truly felt like Colorado showed off just for them that day.
One of the most special parts of their celebration was having their son present to witness and be part of this unforgettable memory. Watching them hold hands, laugh, and celebrate together as a family was an incredible joy to capture. You could feel the love between not only Megan and Connor, but everyone in attendance.
Small weddings like this one always feel extra meaningful. The pace is slower, the moments are deeper, and the focus stays where it matters most — on love and connection. This was one of those days that reminded me exactly why I love doing what I do.

“Sarah photographed both our engagement/family photos and wedding and she knocked it out of the park for both. She made everything super easy and clear through the whole process. I never had any worries about her showing up or the photos she produced. She was accommodating to our budget and it was easy to understand what were paying, when and how long she would be there. She was also like a mini coordinator the day of my wedding by giving us directions of how to do certain things, helping with my dress, and directing our guests when to stand during the ceremony. I am beyond impressed and appreciative of what she did for us.
On top of all of that, Sarah was extremely approachable and kind. She was easy to talk to and felt like a friend on the day of my wedding. I got a TON of compliments about Sarah on how great she did her job and what a cool/kind person she was from my guests.
