At-Home Love Story | Kat & Joe’s Cozy Colorado Springs Session

I’ve been dreaming of photographing an in-home date night cuddle session — and Kat and Joe’s session was everything I hoped for and more.

Kat has been such a big part of my creative world: she helped with a winter elopement in Lake George, provided hair and makeup for our giveaway couple session at 1 C Barn, and she's also my amazing hairdresser. So when we started chatting about her own session with her husband, I knew it would be something special.

Kat’s vision was simple and beautiful — to capture the love between her and Joe in the comfort of their Colorado Springs home. We started in their living room, where they cozied up on the couch with their three adorable dogs. The energy was effortless, warm, and full of love.

From there, we moved into the bedroom where Joe played the guitar Kat had gifted him — a sweet, personal moment that was such a joy to document. We wrapped up in the kitchen, where their playful side really came out. It was laughter, connection, and candid joy from start to finish.
