Erin & Jeff’s Elegant Hearth House Wedding | Monument, CO

Some weddings feel extra special — not just because of the love shared, but because of the history behind the connection. Erin is a dear friend I met through teaching, and I had the absolute honor of photographing her engagement session… and now, her wedding day.

Erin and Jeff’s wedding at the Hearth House in Monument, Colorado, was timeless, heartfelt, and beautifully intentional. Her deep green bridesmaid dresses added the perfect pop of color against the natural landscape, and her lace wedding gown was the definition of elegance. Every detail reflected the style and love they share.

We began the day with getting ready moments, followed by a quiet first look tucked into the woods just up the road from the venue. Doing bridal party and couple portraits before the ceremony is one of my favorite things — it allows the rest of the day to unfold stress-free, and the couple gets to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. Erin and Jeff embraced the flow of the day so gracefully.

As Colorado weather often does, the wind picked up and threatened rain, so the ceremony was moved indoors last minute. But let me tell you — it didn’t take away a single ounce of beauty. The Hearth House provided a stunning indoor option, and once the skies cleared, we were able to step outside for more portraits with their bridal party and family.

Everything about this day was intentional and full of love. Erin and Jeff’s joy radiated from start to finish, and I’m so grateful I got to capture their love story from the beginning.
