There are some sessions that truly pull at your heartstrings — and Stephanie and Joe’s pregnancy announcement session at Eleven Mile Reservoir in Lake George, Colorado, was one of those unforgettable days. Not only are Stephanie and Joe good friends of mine, but being able to capture such an emotional and meaningful chapter of their journey made it even more special.

After trying for a long time to grow their family, their dream finally came true. I was honored to document this exciting moment and celebrate alongside them. Watching their excitement and love unfold in front of the camera was truly magical.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the reservoir during the fall months, the scenery was filled with warm, golden hues, soft breezes, and the peaceful sounds of the water. The landscape couldn’t have been more perfect to capture their joy and anticipation.

One of the most memorable moments of the session was their gender reveal. Stephanie and Joe chose to use confetti poppers and colored powder to announce they were expecting a baby girl. As the pink confetti exploded into the air, their faces lit up with pure happiness.
