A Heartfelt Community Center Wedding | Lauren & Ariel in Broomfield, Colorado

Lauren and Ariel’s wedding day was the perfect reminder that love doesn’t need to be extravagant to be meaningful. They said “I do” surrounded by their closest friends and family at their local community center in Broomfield, Colorado — a place full of heart, history, and connection. What made this day even more special? The center is nestled right in the neighborhood where their parents live, adding a beautiful layer of generational love and family roots.

Guests traveled from near and far to celebrate this sweet couple. The setup was simple and thoughtful, with delicious food and a photo booth that kept everyone laughing and creating memories all night long.

One of my favorite parts about small weddings is the way they naturally allow for deeper connection. During slower moments, I had the chance to chat with many of the guests — learning about their journeys, their relationships to Lauren and Ariel, and sharing in the joy of the day. I even had a seat at a table for dinner, which gave me the opportunity to really experience the warmth of this close-knit group.

By the end of the evening, I genuinely didn’t want to leave. It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love what I do. Capturing love stories — especially ones filled with so much heart — is such a gift, and I’ll never take it for granted.

We recently had Sarah from Vintage Violets photograph our wedding, and it was such an amazing experience! She maintained great communication from the moment we booked with her. She checked in with me regularly on the progress of the planning, and offered help with many aspects of the planning.
We are incredibly happy with the photos we received, and how quickly we received them.
Sarah has great energy and is so fun to be around. All of the bridal party loved working with her, and she made us all feel so comfortable. You can tell she has a serious passion for what she does. She even stayed after she was done working and partied with us!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Vintage Violets Photography. Thank you so much!
